Install the Mac app.
Open the download, drag Die With Me to Applications, then launch it from there. The preview needs Node.js 18 or newer installed.
Download on MacConnect your usage.
Click the mascots, open Settings with the gear button, then choose Set up Claude Code. Start a new Claude Code terminal session and send a message while signed into your subscription.
Codex uses its local usage readings automatically. Claude desktop/web chat alone won’t activate the reader.
Add your people.
Click Connect my usage in the Mac app. Share your friend code, add a pal, and keep each other company.
Your usage appears on Global by default. Choose Friends or Just me in Settings whenever you like.
Usage and chat connect to our shared server. Your provider credentials stay on your Mac.
Run out together.
Because “usage limit reached” could use a friend.
